PAUL BRUNSON – EMCEE, is an entrepreneur, TV host, and one of the world’s most successful matchmakers. A former investment banker and business executive with an MBA from Georgetown University, he is the first African American matchmaker, and founder of the PCB Agency, a leading matchmaking firm that has created over 100 marriages. His best-selling book entitled: It’s Complicated (But It Doesn’t Have to Be), was optioned this year by Sony Pictures to bring both his book and Paul’s personal story to the big screen. Paul also hosts the nationally syndicated TV show Our World with Black Enterprise and serves as a contributor to Good Morning America and Nightline.


PETE CHUNG is a Managing Director and Head of Morgan Stanley Expansion Capital and Co-Head and Managing Member of Morgan Stanley Venture Partners (MSVP), Morgan Stanley’s technology and healthcare focused late-stage funds. Previously, Pete Co-Founded Morgan Stanley Technology Ventures, the strategic investment arm of Morgan Stanley Technology Investment Banking, and Pete was also involved with Morgan Stanley Principal Investment’s growth equity investing activity. Pete joined Morgan Stanley Technology Investment Banking in 1993 and helped open Morgan Stanley’s first Silicon Valley office in Menlo Park in 1994. He is a graduate of Dartmouth College and the Stanford Graduate School of Business. PATTI GLAZA is the Managing Director of Detroit Innovate & First Step Fund, and Vice President at Invest Detroit. She manages Invest Detroit’s venture funds and portfolio of investments. Patti serves as an Advisor/ Board Member at Michigan Venture Capital Association, The Great Lakes Protection Fund, NSF I-Corp, University of Michigan’s M-TRAC – Advanced Transportation Technologies and Venture Center Council, and The Clean Coalition. Prior to joining Invest Detroit, Patti worked with Arsenal Venture Partners, a multi-stage national venture capital firm focused on IT, energy and industrial technologies.  She has also served as the CEO and executive management of several start-ups in the nanotech, energy, and healthcare IT sectors.


 
 

CARLA HARRIS is a Vice Chairman, Global Wealth Management, Managing Director and Senior Client Advisor at Morgan Stanley.  She is responsible for increasing client connectivity and penetration to enhance revenue generation across the firm. In August 2013, Carla Harris was appointed by President Barack Obama to chair the National Women’s Business Council. Ms. Harris began her career with Morgan Stanley in the Mergers & Acquisitions department in 1987.  Prior to joining Morgan Stanley, Carla received from Harvard Business School an MBA, Second Year Honors and an AB in economics from Harvard University, Magna Cum Laude. She is the author of Expect to Win and Strategize to Win.

SHERWIN PRIOR is the Managing Director of General Motors Ventures, LLC. Prior to this appointment, he worked on the micro-cap to mid-cap growth platform for NorthPointe Capital, LLC in Troy, Michigan. Sherwin also worked for Morgan Stanley Investment Management in New York as a Senior Associate where he was responsible for investments in the industrial and consumer discretionary sectors of the economy. His prior experience also includes General Motors Retail Holdings, where he was a Financial Acquisitions Analyst responsible for the valuation of dealerships; JP Morgan Chase where he was a Commercial Credit Analyst in the Asset-Based Lending Group; and Stout Risius Ross Valuation Consultants in Farmington Hills, Michigan where he was responsible for appraising middle-market companies and real estate.

 
 

ROBIN RICHARDS is the Co-Founder, Chairman, and CEO for the CareerArc Group. His previous leadership includes Blackboard Connect (formerly The NTI Group); CEO of Vivendi Universal Net USA; Founding President, COO, and Director of MP3.com; Managing Director of Tickets.com, Inc., and Founder, President, and CEO of Lexi International. Robin also currently serves as president of the Chase Foundation. Honored as a Readers’ Favorite in Inc. Magazine’s 2007 Entrepreneur of the Year Award, Robin has also received Customer Interaction Solutions Magazine’s Lifetime Achievement Award and the LAVA (Los Angeles Venture Association) Award for Best M&A. He is a member of several boards, including LASEC (Los Angeles Sports and Entertainment Commission), Morehouse College Board of Trustees, and the University of Southern California Marshall School of Business – Board of Leaders.
